Kristopher Hurley – Owner/Primary Instructor
Mr. Hurley is the Owner and Primary Instructor for Direct Action Tactical Consultants. Mr. Hurley has over 14 years of operational experience with Firearms and Defensive Tactics, specializing in Military and Law Enforcement Tactics.
After completing a POST Certified Police academy in 1996, Mr. Hurley spent three years as a prisoner transport deputy, followed by four years with the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman, and another four years as an EOD Tech.

Phillip Groff – Chief of Operations
Mr. Groff is the Lead Firearms Instructor and Adjunct DT Instructor for Direct Action Tactical Consultants. Mr. Groff has over 15 years of tactical experience with various Military and Domestic Law Enforcement units. Currently, Mr. Groff is a full-time Police Officer in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, serving in patrol, training and as an Entry Team Leader and Training Coordinator of the Lancaster County Special Emergency Response Team.
In 1995, Mr. Groff joined the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. During his initial MOS training Mr. Groff had been meritoriously promoted twice and selected to serve with the Marine Corps Security Force Battalion’s elite Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Company (FAST).

Scott Dierwechter – Adjunct Instructor
Mr. Dierwechter is an Adjunct DT and Firearms Instructor for Direct Action Tactical Consultants. Mr. Dierwechter has been a Law Enforcement professional for 16 years, and is currently serving as a police officer for a department in Lancaster County. He is currently serving as the senior firearms instructor and as the department’s tactical operations instructor and consultant. Mr. Dierwechter has an extensive background in Law Enforcement training with over 11 years’ experience as an instructor in several disciplines.
